Après son diplôme de l’Ecole du Louvre et un stage dans une maison de vente aux enchères, Ivan Mietton a travaillé de 2002 à 2005 au Département Design du Centre Pompidou sur la collection mais également sur des expositions majeures comme Ettore Sottsass, 20 ans de Design pour Olivetti ainsi que sur la première retrospective de l’oeuvre de Charlotte Perriand.
Il a ensuite occupé 3 ans le poste de directeur d’une galerie spécialisée dans l’édition de mobilier contemporain de designers comme Marco Zanuso Jr. , Ettore Sottsass Jr. et Johanna Grawunder.

En 2008, il décide de se consacrer à la production de mobilier d’exception et l’aménagement d’intérieur.
Son premier projet a été la production de tous les systèmes d’éclairage du Port-Franc de Singapour dessinés par Johanna Grawunder.

After graduating from the Ecole du Louvre and an internship in an auction house, Ivan Mietton worked, from 2002 to 2005, at the Design Department of the Centre Pompidou
He mainly worked on the national collections and on major exhibitions like Ettore Sottsass, 20 years for Olivetti and the first Charlotte Perriand’s retrospective.
He then served three years as Director of a design gallery specialized in publishing contemporary Italian designers such as Marco Zanuso Jr, Ettore Sottsass and Johanna Grawunder among others.

In 2008, he decided to focus on the production of exceptional furniture and interior design. His first project has been the production of all the Singapore Freeport lighting systems, designed by Johanna Grawunder.
